We are greatly saddened to hear that Jean-Marc Henchoz passed away on November 3, at the age of 69. A leading figure in Swiss cinema, Jean-Marc Henchoz was a producer, and an occasional actor. In 1980 he founded Les Productions JMH in Neuchâtel, and produced a total of around 80 film for cinema and television. His successes include: L'Argent (Robert Bresson, 1983), Microcosmos (Claude Nuridsany and Marie Pérennou, 1996) , screened on the Piazza Grande at the Festival del film Locarno, Himalaya (Eric Valli, 1999), a world première on the Piazza Grande), Winged Migration (Jacques Perrin, Jacques Cluzaud and Michel Debats, 2001) and Oceans ( Jaques Perrin and Jacques Cluzaud, 2009). Fernand Melgar’s Exit (2005) was the last film produced by Jean-Marc Henchoz.
